Nicole Kyles-Burton

Nicole Kyles-Burton attended the University of Texas at Austin and Lamar University. She has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Management, Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Nicole has worked in higher education for over 20 years; including community colleges, trade and technical schools and the university level.

Nicole has performed research in China and Taiwan at National Cheng Kung University. She attended the Annual Doha Forum in Doha, Qatar, an international conference for global dialogue on critical challenges facing the world and international business seminars in Costa Rica and Panama with the CEO of the Panama Canal. She has presented research at numerous conferences across the country.

 

Nicole currently resides in Beaumont, Texas and works for Lamar University in the Center for Career and Professional Development. Nicole believes the best told stories are found between the pages of a passport and is passionate about developing today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders. Nicole loves partnering with employers, students, and alumni to create a pathway to success and turning opportunities into realities. Her areas of expertise include career development, career coaching, educating students on knowledge of self, career options and resources, and empowering them with skills, tools, and confidence.

 

Nicole has three children, Brittany a graduate of Texas Woman’s University and Georgetown University who is currently a Family Nurse Practitioner, and twin boys Bryce who attends LSU Baton Rouge and Bryant who attends University of Texas at Austin.
